Vivian Lu

Vivian Lu is an illustrator and animator based in Minneapolis. She studied animation at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where she earned both her BFA and MFA.

Vivian has worked as a 3D technical artist with places like Target and the Minneapolis Institute of Art, but her favorite projects are the ones where she gets to imagine new worlds. Through her comic art and experimental animation, she creates characters, stories, and places that spark curiosity and creativity.

At Artlet26, Vivian loves helping students bring their own ideas to life—whether through drawing, animation, or storytelling. She encourages kids to explore, experiment, and have fun while building confidence in their artistic voice.
