Multi-Disciplinary Artist

Mubarak Nasser Al-Thani

Mubarak Nasser Al-Thani (b. 1989) is a multi-disciplinary artist from Doha, Qatar, now based in Minneapolis. His work reimagines urban landscapes by deconstructing skylines, architecture, and everyday objects that reflect city life. Using acrylic and mixed media, he blends structured forms with spontaneous gestures to create bold, playful compositions that explore the balance between accuracy and imagination.

Mubarak holds a BA in International Politics from Georgetown University and an MA in Urban Planning from NYU. He has been an artist-in-residence at Doha Fire Station and ISCP in Brooklyn, and his work has been shown internationally in New York, Paris, Geneva, Saint Petersburg, Shanghai, and Doha. He is currently pursuing his MFA at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
