Class Description

Discover the joy of working with clay through both miniature pottery wheels and handbuilding techniques. In this weekend class, students will learn the foundations of mini wheels while exploring pinch, coil, and slab construction to create adorable functional and sculptural pieces.

Each week introduces new projects and surface techniques, encouraging students to experiment with form, texture, color, and storytelling through clay. Whether shaping tiny vessels on the wheel or building imaginative sculptures by hand, students will develop confidence, craftsmanship, and a deeper understanding of the ceramic process from wet clay to finished glaze.

Perfect for beginners and returning young clay artists alike, this class offers a playful introduction to ceramics while building strong foundational skills in a real studio environment.
