After a short, engaging lesson each week, kids will bring their discoveries to life by needle felting cuddly, poseable animal sculptures. Students will learn how today’s scientists understand the animal kingdom and each of their habitat. From anatomy to movement to evolutionary connections. Using specialized needle, students will learn how to sculpt loose felt into shapes, exploring with colors, textures and form in the process.

By the end of the course, students can expect to bring home multiple handmade plush creations — along with fascinating scientific knowledge to share with family and friends.
