In this 10-week course, students will learn the art of mosaics, working with glass and ceramic pieces alike to puzzle and grout their own illustrative designs! Dive into this thousand-years-old traditional art medium, students will not only learn history of mosaics around the world, sketch and design their own work, but also craft and decorate their own special mosaic tiles from clay.

This class is designed to introduce young artists to ceramics arts, developing tastes in color, shapes, and visual harmony all the while giving the hands-on experience in working with clay and other professional artist tools.
