Anna Weimholt

Anna Weimholt (she/her) is a mosaic artist from St Paul, Minnesota with a BA in Studio Art from St. Olaf College.

Her mosaics tell whimsical stories, exploring connections within the natural world. A gatherer at heart, Anna finds recycled materials like river glass and old plates to make her mosaics. She also uses her own hand-made tiles.

Anna’s largest mosaics, Redrock Block and The Mermaids Cast a Spell, are on permanent display at the Moab Arts and Recreation Center in Utah.

Since earning her degree in 2022, Anna has assisted artists globally, including a ceramicist in Greece, a bogwood sculptor in Ireland, and a printmaker in Mexico. In 2023, she completed an artist residency at Taller La Hoja in Tepoztlán, Morelos.
