Fiber Artist/Artist/

Data Scientist/Pattern Seeker

Alle Hale

Based in St. Paul, Minnesota, I am a fiber artist whose practice is rooted in creativity, community, and connection. Working with locally sourced wool and foraged dye plants, I transform raw materials into pieces that are both functional and evocative.

I have taught across the Twin Cities with the Textile Center, Nash Lake Fiber Farm, The Toolbox Collective, and regional libraries, as well as through private workshops. My teaching invites students to explore the expressive potential of knitting, fiber arts, and painting, cultivating both skill and joy in making.

Alongside my studio work, I am also a practicing data scientist, captivated by the intricate patterns that emerge from simple elements. My work—whether artistic or analytic—seeks to reveal the beauty of interconnectedness, celebrating the ways in which community, nature, and design weave together.
